About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Customer Service Specialist II in Wilmington, DE. The position is a call center-like role responsible for taking incoming calls for General Surgery, Podiatry, Colorectal Surgery, and Bariatrics. This is an on-site position at our Avenue North location in Wilmington, DE.

Requirements

High School Graduate or GED required
Computer and key boarding skill required

Responsibilities

Accurately responding to high volume calls
Scheduling appointments
Handling phone notes
Escalating urgent calls
Using computer tools like scheduling modules and EMRs
Multitasking and handling calls appropriately
Using CCHS HEAT methodology when service issues arise
Interacting with patients, physicians, and staff, providing accurate communication
Performing assigned work safely, adhering to departmental safety rules
Reporting unsafe activities to the manager
