This position supports the Sedgwick County Appraiser’s Office by providing professional, accurate, and courteous assistance to property owners, representatives, internal departments, and external customers while helping them understand appraisal processes, property records, valuation information, appeals, exemptions, grievances, and related office procedures. The role performs a variety of customer service, records maintenance, research, and appraisal-support duties involving real estate, individual personal property, and business personal property accounts in accordance with Kansas statutes, Kansas Department of Revenue Property Valuation Division guidelines, Sedgwick County Appraiser’s Office policies and procedures, and applicable appraisal standards. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate property data, supporting annual valuation activities, processing changes, and promoting a positive and professional image of the Appraiser’s Office.
