This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, both in person and over the phone. The position requires accurate and quick calculation skills, including making correct change. Motor coordination for precise hand and finger movements, and the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touch screen are necessary. Most tasks are performed while standing, with walking on various surfaces. Occasional sitting is required for paperwork. Lifting of bulk deliveries, up to 50 pounds, is part of the job, as is carrying items like pizza sauce and dough trays. Team members may need to climb stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks. Stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching are frequently required for stocking, cleaning, and food preparation. Hand-eye coordination and the use of both hands are continuous throughout the day, with some tasks requiring forceful use of forearms and wrists, as well as pinching motions.
