About The Position
This role involves a variety of tasks within a store environment, focusing on customer interaction, order processing, and maintaining the operational readiness of the store. Responsibilities include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, handling telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning. The position requires effective communication skills, the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, and proficiency in using computer systems for order entry. The work environment can involve exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, and occasional cramped spaces. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Walking for short distances for short durations.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
- Pushing to move trays which are placed on dollies.
- Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
- Stooping/Bending at the waist.
- Crouching/Squatting to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
- Reaching continuously; up, down and forward.
- Continuous use of hands during the day.
- Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
- Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
