Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and appointment scheduling software
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on patient satisfaction

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Respond to patient inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
  • Perform clerical duties related to the day-to-day operations of the front office
  • Update and organize patient information in charts accurately and efficiently
  • Answer multiline telephones in a professional manner, directing calls as appropriate
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and maintenance tasks using EPM or similar systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow
