About The Position
This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas, and preparing products. The representative will also receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis. Key skills include accurate and quick calculation abilities (with or without a calculator), proficiency in making correct monetary change, strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing, and good eye-hand coordination for precise and rapid movements. The ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touchscreen, comprehend and provide written instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers both in person and over the phone are also essential.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
