About The Position

Our Customer Service team serves as the frontline connection to our clients, ensuring their requests are addressed with accuracy, professionalism, and care. As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll act as a NewBasis ambassador—supporting sales and operations teams, preparing quotations, reviewing customer orders, and ensuring that every customer experience reflects our commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or AA degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of production software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer support platforms.
  • Prior experience supporting sales or technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review quotation requests and process through NewBasis’s system.
  • Issue finalized quotations, ensuring commercial and technical requirements are met.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and confirm production capability.
  • Communicate important quotations, orders, returns, and other transactions with the Customer Service Manager and VP of Sales.
  • Support Regional Sales Teams and Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Coordinate solutions for customer complaints, warranty replacements, and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to resolve credit and receivable issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Marketing, Field Sales, and customers.
  • Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes and product requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects to support management (quoting, validation, and accuracy).
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
