About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math, and proficiency in using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, exposure to fumes and dust, and working in confined spaces. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, and near/mid-range vision. Temperamentally, the role requires the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Most tasks are performed standing, with walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, driving for deliveries, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination are continuous, including shaping dough, using tools, and manipulating boxes. Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
