Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing and able to work all stations in-store, such as making menu items, assisting customers on the phone and in-store, and expediting orders from the cut table
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Operate all store equipment
  • Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication on telephone and in person
  • Near and mid-range vision is used for most in-store tasks
  • Depth perception is necessary for all positions
  • Personnel must have the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
  • Far vision and night vision are needed for delivery personnel
  • The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions is necessary throughout shifts
  • Ability to stand for most tasks
  • Ability to walk frequently for short distances and short durations
  • Ability to sit for paperwork and driving (if applicable)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (cases of ingredients and supplies)
  • Ability to carry dough trays (approximately 12 pounds), cases of products (up to 25 pounds), prepped items, and cases of pizza sauce (30 pounds)
  • Ability to push/pull with a force of up to 7.5 pounds
  • Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder
  • Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery of product (if applicable)
  • Ability to bend, crouch, squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
  • Ability to perform forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking items
  • Ability to reach continuously (up, down, and forward)
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential
  • Continuous use of hands during the day
  • Frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists (shaping pizza dough)
  • Ability to manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven and using different pizza cutters
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes
  • Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter, the pizza peel, and pizza boxes
