About The Position
This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas, and preparing products. Responsibilities include receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility on an approximate daily basis. The position requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, make correct monetary change, and utilize verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Strong motor coordination for precise and rapid hand-eye movements is essential, as is the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Effective communication skills are needed to comprehend and provide written instructions, as well as to verbally communicate with customers and co-workers for order processing.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
