This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, verbal, writing, and telephone skills, motor coordination for precise movements, and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. The role is primarily performed standing, with walking in short distances. Sitting is required for paperwork. Lifting of up to 50 pounds is necessary for deliveries, with cases typically lifted from the floor and stacked up to 72 inches high. Carrying involves items like large cans, pizza sauce, and pizza dough trays. Driving is required for pizza delivery within a designated area. Pushing is performed to move trays on dollies. Climbing stairs or ladders may be required infrequently. Stooping/bending is necessary at the pizza assembly station and front counter. Crouching/squatting is performed occasionally for stocking and cleaning. Reaching is continuous, up, down, and forward, including reaching above 72 inches. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and continuous use of hands, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, and pinching for box assembly. Team members must be able to grasp various items. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
