About The Position

Rugby Manufacturing is looking for a Customer Service Representative with computer skills and knowledge of dump body and hoist installation for our Sales Department. Rugby is North America's leading designer and manufacturer of Class 3-5 dump truck bodies, landscape bodies, platform bodies, truck and trailer hoists, related truck equipment and accessories.

Requirements

• High school or some college courses in a field related to business or equivalent experience
• Ability to deal effectively and professionally by phone with customers promoting a positive company image
• Strong communication/presentation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office)
• Strong technical reasoning and independent decision-making skills
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to remain focused in all environments
• Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings
• Must be a team player that maintains high integrity

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Basic understanding of truck chassis, basic hydraulics and related equipment, but not required

Responsibilities

• Research questions regarding order status, lead times, pricing
• Interpret specifications and completing accurate estimates/quotes in a timely manner
• Enter customer orders accurately, verifying pricing, and scheduling on the date requested by the distributor
• Assist customers in filling their loads to maximize freight
• Provide information for Parts and Accessory Sales and Operator/Installation Manuals
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Communicate ideas and concerns related to Rugby and the sales department in a timely manner
• Look for opportunities to positively affect gross margin & implementing them when appropriate
• Other duties as assigned that will impact the department and Rugby Mfg.
