About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, and good eye-hand coordination for order processing and product preparation. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, and near/mid-range vision. Temperamentally, the role requires the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Most tasks are performed standing, with some walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, and significant lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds. Delivery personnel will also be driving, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks are continuous and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists, as well as pinching and grasping various items.

Requirements

• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to push trays on dollies.
• Ability to navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Ability to stoop/bend at the waist.
• Ability to crouch/squat.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
