This is a temporary/floater position for a Customer Service Representative/Teller. The role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and directing them to the appropriate representative. You will also inform clients about new services and product promotions, and deliver outstanding service in all daily tasks. Responsibilities include assisting customers with routine account-related requests such as deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, loan and installment payments, official checks, money orders, and other banking products or services. You will maintain and reconcile a cash drawer, adhering to bank cash handling and security policies. Daily tasks to maintain branch integrity include balancing the ATM, processing night drops, balancing negotiable instruments, processing returned mail, balancing the credit card machine, and monitoring lobby rate sheets and brochures. The role also involves researching and resolving customer service issues within given authority, acting as a liaison between the customer and other bank departments when necessary. You will ensure safekeeping of money in cash drawers and prompt accounting or transfer of funds to prevent loss, and identify fraudulent activity. Additionally, you will support referral goals for the branch by identifying and referring basic bank products to the appropriate business partner, providing an extraordinary customer experience, and complying with bank operations and security procedures.
