About The Position

As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for supporting sales growth through customer engagement, order management, and lead follow-up, while delivering a high-quality customer experience. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication, accurate order processing, and timely follow-through. This position plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth, maintaining customer relationships, and driving operational excellence within Fenner’s sales organization.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or related roles
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound customer inquiries, including requests for quotes, order status, and product information
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to support retention and growth
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes, pricing, and product information
  • Support outside sales and sales managers with account management and follow-up
  • Enter and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Track orders and proactively communicate updates or issues to customers
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, escalating as needed
  • Support lead qualification and follow-up activities to drive conversion
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity within CRM systems
  • Assist in pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to support customer needs
  • Provide feedback on customer trends, product needs, and market insights
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience
  • Contribute to sales initiatives, campaigns, and ongoing business development efforts
