About The Position

The Customer Service Quoting Specialist at HAPMAN plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between our customers and our sales, engineering, and customer service teams. The primary responsibility is to prepare accurate and comprehensive parts quotations for our customers, ensuring that they receive timely and well-detailed proposals that align with their specific needs and requirements. This position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager and is primarily focused on the speed and accuracy of technical communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience within the manufacturing or capital equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with bulk material handling applications, especially in the Food, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to gather necessary information for creating detailed and accurate quotations.
  • Analyze customer inquiries and specifications to develop customized quotes that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Utilize our internal systems to generate and track quotations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including conveyors and capital equipment solutions, to effectively communicate features, benefits, and technical specifications to customers.
  • Work closely with customers to clarify requirements and address any queries they may have during the quotation process.
  • Maintain a professional and responsive communication style to foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market dynamics to contribute valuable insights to the quoting process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer service, to ensure a unified and customer-centric approach.
