About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Customer Service and Order Entry Representative to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, providing exceptional service, and supplying timely information regarding order status, deliveries, lead times, and freight coordination. This role requires strong collaboration, proactive communication, and problem‑solving to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order fulfillment. Salary: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour, pay based on experience Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm We Offer You! Supply timely and accurate information to customers and internal partners regarding order status, delivery schedules, lead times, freight coordination. Coordinate with scheduling, production, shipping, sales, and customer service/order entry teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Ensure proper documentation and request details are provided for smooth processing. What You Bring: Minimum of two years of college coursework or equivalent work experience in a customer service or sales role, required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and NetSuite (or similar ERP/order management system). Ability to work efficiently and self‑directedly, with timely responses to customers. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Strong teamwork mindset and collaborative approach. Requirements
