About The Position

Join the Customer Experience and Engagement Branch at Toowoomba Regional Council. This team plays a vital role in keeping the community informed, connected, and supported through customer service, internal comms, media liaison, marketing, and engagement. The role involves being the first point of contact for community members, answering questions, solving problems, and delivering information with clarity and care across phone, email, counter, and digital channels. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time employment across various locations including Toowoomba, Oakey, Goombungee, Highfields, Crows Nest, Clifton, Pittsworth, and Millmerran. Location preference will be discussed with successful applicants.

Requirements

  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Clear and confident communicators – written and verbal
  • Strong team players with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Organised, tech-savvy and thrive in busy environments
  • Must be available to complete an initial 6 weeks of full-time training in Toowoomba’s CBD
