About The Position
The Customer Service & Material Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with product selection, project quotes, sales transactions, material orders, deliveries, inventory management, and yard operations. This position works closely with customers, vendors, drivers, and other team members to ensure orders are accurate, materials are properly handled and delivered, and daily operations run efficiently and safely. The position requires strong attention to detail, product knowledge, communication skills, dependability, and the ability to safely handle and transport building materials. The employee must be able to work effectively in both a customer-facing sales environment and an outdoor lumberyard setting. This is a full-time position located in Kansas, Il.
