About The Position

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) in Omaha, NE. In this role, you will provide professional and timely support to the sales team and customers. Requirements

  • 1+ year customer service or inside sales experience
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills including Excel
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial distribution or parts counter environment experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting / returns
  • Source parts
  • Assist in generating sales
  • Help in the stockroom as needed, deliver orders to customers as needed
