The Customer Service I position involves assisting customers with sales and service across all departments, maintaining a basic knowledge of hardware, electrical, plumbing, and paint. This role requires proficiency in general computer software, specifically 'Epicor', and involves duties such as cutting keys, cutting glass, determining pricing, and acting as a backup cashier. The position also includes managing inventory, printing bin tags, arranging signage, processing overstock, stocking and fronting merchandise, and assembling/displaying merchandise. Additionally, the role requires proficiency with equipment and products in the lumber and paint departments, refilling CO2 cylinders, handling propane cylinders, and responding to customer service calls and internal radio communications. The employee must be able to work with limited supervision and contribute to a positive and safe work environment. This role is under the immediate supervision of Shift Manager(s).
