About The Position

This role is well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career. As a Customer Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for servicing DX Equipment in the Milwaukee, WI area. Customer Service Engineer Level based on prior experience. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. You will manage financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management. Ensure that all tool and test equipment expiration dates are managed, and that no overdue calibration test equipment is used or maintained in the field and usage of tool and test is documented on eFSR. You will manage company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately. Serve as a resource of knowledge transfer for their regional team, including attendance of RSC calls and other knowledge forums. Assist RSM in assessing service metrics & histories. Makes recommendations on how to improve performance of region. Recommend improvements & changes to processes, work procedures and technical bulletins. Assists others in complying with the Quality System.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on DX Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
  • Previous experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining the desired capital DX Equipment.
  • Strong background working with electronics and proficiency in the use of service tools and service test equipment.
  • Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Minimum Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong electronics background and computer skills required.
  • Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools (including but not limited to, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
  • Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.
  • Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology to include mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
  • Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment.

  • 3+ years of field service experience is desired.
