About The Position

Provide customer service and administrative sales support throughout the customer order process. This role involves processing and maintaining customer orders, communicating with customers, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining accurate order and customer records.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of office, customer service, order entry, or administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to identify and resolve order or customer service issues.
  • Ability to learn and apply procedures, systems, and product information and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with domestic and international/export shipments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and maintain customer purchase orders and sales orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, terms, shipping information, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare order acknowledgements and maintain supporting documentation and updates throughout the order process.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, Sales, Operations, Production, Planning, Shipping, Accounting, and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are communicated and addressed.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order requirements, order status, production updates, shipping information, and other customer service needs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to obtain production and shipment status, resolve order-related issues, and provide timely customer updates.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and freight forwarders, including preparation of packing lists, waybills, tracking information, and other required shipping documentation.
  • Process and coordinate RMA activities, maintain accurate customer and order records, provide status updates, and communicate issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support the Customer Service and Sales departments with administrative and operational activities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
