About The Position

The Lot Attendant, Dealership Operations ensures the dealership’s inventory is organized, maintained, and ready for service or sale. The role manages the physical flow of vehicles, lot presentation, and vehicle preparation, directly supporting service and sales operations. Through diligence, safe driving practices, and attention to detail, the attendant helps maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The position includes safely transporting, moving, and staging vehicles; keeping the vehicle lot, showroom areas, and service drive clean and organized; assisting with incoming vehicle check-in and basic visual damage inspections; and reporting defects or issues to management. The attendant may also transport customers to and from the dealership, pick up parts, and assist departments as directed by leadership.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Frequent standing and sitting, with varying periods of each.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport, move, and stage vehicles across the lot and premises to maintain space and accessibility.
• Keep the vehicle lot, showroom areas, and service drive clean, organized, and professional in appearance.
• Assist with check-in of incoming vehicles, conduct basic visual inspections for damage, and report defects or issues to management.
• Transport customers to and from the dealership, pick up parts, and assist various departments as directed by leadership.
