About The Position

Lucia's Pizzeria is seeking a Customer Service Attendant to join their team. This role is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to customers at the takeout counter, managing orders, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling money accurately.
  • Must successfully complete Graziano’s training course.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, takeout, or restaurant environment preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service at the takeout counter.
  • Answer phone calls to take orders, confirm pickup times, and assist with customer inquiries.
  • Manage and package all takeout orders with attention to accuracy, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate timing with kitchen staff to ensure orders are complete and timely.
  • Handle payments (cash, credit, debit) and operate POS system efficiently.
  • Issue refunds or adjustments with manager approval.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout area.
  • Restock takeout supplies including utensils, napkins, condiments, and packaging materials.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide information about menu items, bakery selections, and catering offerings.
  • Assist with light cleaning duties as needed.
