About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Customer Service Attendant to receive, organize, and merchandise foodservice products at client locations. The role includes keeping product areas stocked, orderly, clean, and visually appealing; maintaining product freshness and proper storage; monitoring inventory needs; and providing professional customer service while following food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.

Requirements

Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees.
Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods, and other foodservice products at client locations.
Merchandise products according to established standards, keeping shelves, coolers, vending machines, market displays, and designated product areas stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged, or stale products.
Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
Maintain attractive, clean, and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages, and customer preferences.
Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards.
