About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. This temporary role also supports store operations, merchandising, maintenance, photo services, and customer order pickup. The position requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico, and willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance that meets customer needs.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items, trade-up options, and companion items.
Process purchases, cash payments, change, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges at an assigned register.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss and comply with state and local laws concerning regulated products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Separate food items and place products according to applicable policies and procedures.
Rotate consumable stock using the first-in, first-out method and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, use of the creative machine, and suggesting promotional photo products.
Monitor Picture Care Plus web pickup orders, pick items, and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain a clean, neat, orderly store, both inside and outside.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
