About The Position

In this position, you will be working diligently with your customers, providing them with solutions, answering general customer service questions that may include service issues, billing inquires, and product enhancement opportunities that will continue to drive customer satisfaction for our clients. By providing your unique set of troubleshooting skills, you will own all your customer interactions, with a goal of one call resolution. You will end your day satisfied knowing that you and you alone assisted a customer in the same manner you yourself would like to be assisted! Your expert service will position Startek as the employer and provider of choice!

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail (ensuring the accuracy of information before submission)
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Ability to download files and upload to OneDrive
  • Excel: Ability to format cells and review large datasets
  • Teams: Ability to navigate chats and teams for escalation procedure and resources
  • Email Communication: Proficient in professional email practices including clear positive messaging, grammar, formatting, and appropriate use of email tool functions
  • Call Handling & Communication Management: Effectively manage inbound and outbound calls while ensuring accurate information delivery and documentation.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately handle high-volume data entry and avoid errors when processing individual records; ability to memo all important details for future record
  • Communication Skills: Maintain clear, professional, and positive interactions with all internal and external partners across voice, chat, and meeting channels
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate an enthusiastic, helpful approach when assisting partners, proactively educating and preventing future effort where possible.
  • Self-Management: Stay focused and productive during long or complex tasks
  • Proactive Communication: Maintain online presence and keep the team looped in on progress. Provide updates or escalate concerns when processes are delayed or issues arise
  • Team Support: Actively collaborate by assisting peers when questions arise, contributing to a supportive team environment, and coordinating efforts on shared and overlapping requests to ensure consistent outcomes.
  • High Speed Internet speeds at least 20 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload (note: the PC must also be connected via an Ethernet cable to your modem or router).
  • Cellular (3G/4G/5G), satellite, and wifi internet connections are not supported connection types for this role.
