About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role also supports store operations, merchandising, inventory, photo services, web order pickup, and store maintenance while following company policies and applicable laws. Attends training and completes learning activities (PPLs) requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.

Requirements

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance through resolution.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Operate the assigned cash register; process purchases, cash, change, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with food separation and product placement according to policy, rotate consumable stock using first-in, first-out, and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, use of the creative machine, and promotion of photo products.
Monitor and fill web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, orderly, and presentable.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.
