About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional service to our customers and support our dynamic Marketing and eCommerce team. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers who shop Runnings.com, handling inquiries, concerns, returns, and exchanges via email and phone. You will help create and edit content for our website to improve the customer experience. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in supporting our marketing efforts through projects such as coordinating community support requests.

Requirements

  • A passion for providing exceptional service and creating positive customer experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey information and solutions to customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support or a related field is highly desirable.
  • High school diploma required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial contact for customer inquiries through phone and email, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and empathetically, offering solutions that reflect our commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently, ensuring all transactions align with company policies.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce team to help enhance the customer experience on Runnings.com through website content updates and troubleshooting.
  • Manage community support applications, an important piece of fostering strong relationships.
  • Assist with data entry, analyzing eCommerce initiatives, and coordinating marketing events and materials to support team goals.
