About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a distinctive, friendly, and efficient customer experience. The role operates a cash register, helps customers with products and services, resolves issues, and provides service in store areas including photo and web pickup. It also supports merchandising, inventory, store maintenance, asset protection, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

The associate attends training and completes assigned learning modules. The position requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, and willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient checkout service; operate an assigned cash register and handle payments, change, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Recommend products, trade-up items, companion items, and promotional photo products.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; take inventory and maintain records.
• Check in and price merchandise as directed.
• Follow asset protection procedures and comply with state and local laws concerning regulated products.
• Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sales displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Separate and place food products according to policies and procedures; rotate consumable stock using first-in, first-out and restock outs.
• Use store systems and equipment; provide photo-area services, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machine services.
• Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders and deliver them to customers when they arrive at the store.
• Help maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
