About The Position

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This role involves a variety of duties including assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions at the cash register, and maintaining the security of cash and company assets. The associate is also responsible for store operations such as keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, receiving and unloading trucks, and ensuring stock replenishment according to productivity standards. A key aspect of the role is fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Additionally, the position requires maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store, which includes cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and trash removal to ensure all areas are neat and presentable. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
