About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a distinctive customer experience by greeting customers, offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role operates an assigned cash register and supports store operations, merchandising, inventory, asset protection, compliance, maintenance, photo services, and customer web-pickup orders. The associate also attends training and completes assigned learning activities.

Requirements

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
Recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items to customers.
Register purchases, collect cash, distribute change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or directed.
Implement asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Comply with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with food separation and product placement according to policy, rotate consumable stock using first in, first out, and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
Monitor and fill web pickup orders and deliver them to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
Follow company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.
