About The Position

The Customer Service Associate models and delivers a distinctive customer experience by providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role supports customers throughout the store, helps resolve questions and issues, and contributes to store operations, merchandising, maintenance, and training. This is a temporary position.

Requirements

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
• Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interactions and proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
• Operate an assigned cash register, process purchases and payments, provide change, and handle voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store management.
• Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss and comply with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, complete resets and revisions, and place promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with food separation and product placement according to policy, rotate consumable stock using first in, first out, and restock outs.
• Use store systems and equipment; provide photo-area services, including digital passport photos and poster and creative-machine printing, and suggest promotional photo products.
• Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders and deliver them to customers when they arrive at the store.
• Help maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete assigned PPLs.
