About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience while providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and assists customers with products and services. The role also supports store operations, merchandising, inventory, asset protection, regulated-product compliance, maintenance, photo services, and web order pickup. Employees attend assigned training and complete requested learning modules. The position requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Operate an assigned cash register; collect cash and provide change; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, and comply with state and local laws concerning regulated products.
Build and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Separate food items and place products according to policies and procedures; rotate consumables using first-in, first-out practices and restock outs.
Use store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders through Picture Care Plus and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain a clean, neat, orderly interior and exterior store.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
