About The Position

The Customer Service Associate helps deliver a great shopping experience by assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining merchandise and store conditions, and supporting a safe and respectful environment. The role also includes receiving and replenishing merchandise, helping unload trucks, and keeping the store clean and presentable. Other duties may be assigned. This is a part-time position at Dollar Tree in Arlington, Texas.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift between 30 and 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Help ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
