About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role supports store operations, merchandising, asset protection, compliance, photo services, online order pickup, and store upkeep. It also includes attending training and completing assigned learning activities.

Requirements

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
Provide fast, courteous, friendly, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Register purchases, collect cash, provide change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as directed.
Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws concerning regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Separate food items and place products according to policies and procedures.
Assist with stock rotation using first-in, first-out methods and restock out-of-stock consumable items.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, use of the creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
Monitor web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
Follow company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
