About The Position
REI Co-op seeks a Store Sales Specialist to help create better outdoor experiences by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with customers. The role supports REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee by facilitating transactions, selling memberships, and offering REI products and services. It also helps maintain the store’s appearance and keep merchandise organized. The associate stays current on REI products and services and shares that knowledge with customers. The role involves assisting customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales; maintaining visual standards; participating in sales and service training; supporting store pickup and product processing; and following loss prevention and safety procedures. The position requires flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs. REI describes an inclusive, values-led workplace focused on helping employees bring their whole selves to work. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales.

- Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
