Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, patient-first approach to every interaction.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Open availability between 8am - 8pm ET Monday through Saturday
  • Must reside in the following US states to be considered: AR, TX, OH, SC, NC, VA, MI, and PA
  • Must meet our Equipment Requirements outlined below.
  • OS: Windows 11
  • Processor: dual-core or higher with base clock speeds of 2.00GHz or better (not boost/turbo/"up-to" frequency)
  • RAM: 8GB or higher
  • Hard Drive Free Space: 5GB or higher.
  • Webcam
  • USB Headset
  • Second monitor
  • High Speed Internet speeds at least 20 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload (note: the PC must also be connected via an Ethernet cable to your modem or router). Cellular (3G/4G/5G), satellite, and wifi internet connections are not supported connection types for this role.
  • Chromebooks/Mac computers cannot be utilized for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare, pharmacy, call center, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from patients and Medical Doctors regarding specialty medication orders.
  • Reviewing and updating patient demographics and medical history.
  • Reviewing order contents and completing clinical assessments.
  • Instructing the patient of their financial responsibility and collecting payment method.
  • Scheduling delivery to the patient’s home or physician office.
  • Determining whether the patient needs a clinical consultation with a pharmacist to provide additional information about how to properly use or store their medications and answer questions.
  • Work with other teams such as Insurance and Financial Assistance to assist patients with obtaining approvals for specialty medications.
  • Help reassure our patients and provide process guidance as the patient gets used to using a specialty pharmacy.
