About The Position

The Customer Service Associate Per Diem is responsible for serving as the initial contact for patients, family members, representatives, and other visitors to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children's Hospital & Women's Hospital Long Beach. This is a 100% customer contact position where excellent and compassionate service and problem solving skills are demonstrated in every visitor interaction, including the ability to remain calm under pressure, excellent telephone demeanor and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service is required.
  • Must have Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 7+ experience with strong computer skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, OR Bilingual English/Khmer (Cambodian), OR Bilingual English/Vietnamese, OR Bilingual English/Korean is required.

Nice To Haves

  • College is preferred.
