About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Associate to join our team at Tide Cleaners. This role involves providing excellent service to our customers, handling drop-off and pick-up orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience at our drop store. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn our point-of-sale system.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work occasional additional shifts (Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays) as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist with drop-off and pick-up of garments.
  • Ensure all items are properly tagged and logged in the system.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding services, turnaround times, and pricing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and customer service area.
  • Assist in handling payments and providing accurate receipts to customers.
  • Ensure all orders are processed according to Tide Cleaners’ standards and timelines.
  • Address any customer concerns or escalate issues to the manager as needed.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for the shift as required.
