About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role also supports store operations, merchandising, asset protection, regulated-product compliance, photo services, online order pickup, and store maintenance. Associates comply with company policies and procedures, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers, complete assigned tasks, and attend requested training.

Requirements

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions.
• Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance through customer satisfaction.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
• Operate the assigned cash register; collect cash and provide change; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed.
• Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Comply with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
• Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation and placement of food items according to policies and procedures.
• Rotate consumable stock using the first-in, first-out method and restock outs.
• Use store systems and equipment.
• Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and promotion of photo products.
• Monitor Picture Care Plus web pickup orders, pick items, and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful coworker relationships.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
