About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role also supports store operations, merchandising, asset protection, photo services, online order pickup, store maintenance, and ongoing training. The position is temporary and requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.

Requirements

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions.
Model customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactively identifying and meeting customer needs.
Provide fast, courteous, friendly, and efficient service; recommend items, trade-up options, and companion products.
Register purchases; collect cash and provide change; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, and comply with laws concerning regulated products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Separate food items and place products according to company policies and procedures.
Rotate consumable stock using the first-in, first-out method and restock outs.
Use store systems and equipment; provide photo-area services, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and promotion of photo products.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders and deliver them to customers when they arrive at the store.
Help maintain clean, neat, and orderly interior and exterior store conditions.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete requested or assigned PPLs.
