About The Position

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This is a part-time position. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets, keeping the store well-stocked, and recovering merchandise. The role also involves receiving merchandise, helping with unloading trucks, and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards. A key aspect of the role is ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
Strong organizational and communication skills are required
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred

Responsibilities
