About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Registers sales on an assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Supports store operations through merchandising, inventory, asset protection, compliance, photo services, web order pickup, and store maintenance. Attends training and completes assigned learning activities.

Requirements

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions.
Model and share customer-service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive assistance until customer needs are satisfied.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items, trade-up options, and companion products.
Register purchases, collect cash, make change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Implement company asset-protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with separation and placement of food items according to policies and procedures; rotate consumable stock using first in, first out and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area customer service, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and promotional photo product suggestions.
Monitor and fulfill web pickup orders in Picture Care Plus, then deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, orderly, and presentable.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
