About The Position

Models and delivers a distinctive, delightful customer experience while registering sales and providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The role supports customers throughout the store, assists with merchandising and inventory, maintains store condition, and completes assigned training and other tasks.

Requirements

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, except in Puerto Rico.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is preferred, except in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions.
Model and share customer service best practices, including courteous interpersonal habits and proactive service that identifies and meets customer needs.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend products, trade-up items, and companion items.
Register purchases, collect payments, provide change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Follow asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
Construct and maintain promotional, seasonal, super-structure, and sale displays; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with food separation and product placement according to policy, rotate consumable stock using first-in, first-out practices, and restock outs.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide photo-area services, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine services, and promotional photo product suggestions.
Monitor Picture Care Plus web pickup orders, pick items, and deliver orders to customers when they arrive at the store.
Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, orderly, and presentable.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.
