About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with daily store operations, including merchandising and customer support, while helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment. The associate is cross-trained to operate the cash register and may switch to front-end duties as needed. Duties may include receiving and processing merchandise, stocking, store cleaning, customer interactions, sales transactions, and protecting company cash and assets. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Clean and maintain the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and pleasantly with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
