About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with the daily operations of an assigned Dollar Tree store, including merchandising, customer support, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The associate is cross-trained to operate the cash register and may switch to front-end duties as needed. The role also includes receiving and processing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, providing friendly and professional service, and protecting company cash and assets. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and amicably with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions while working at the assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
