About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with the daily operations of an assigned store, including merchandising and supporting customers. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and is cross-trained to operate the cash register and assist with front-end duties as needed. The position includes receiving and processing merchandise, stocking, cleaning, customer service, and handling sales transactions and cash security.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and cordially with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
