About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining merchandise and store conditions, and supporting a safe, respectful environment. The role also includes receiving and replenishing merchandise, helping unload trucks, and maintaining store cleanliness, including bathrooms and floors. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Help maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
